The Work Breakdown Structure ( WBS ) Diagram for this project is posted above.

The main area of "work" are :

a) Technical Knowledge
- To learn the necesarry technical knowledge to implement the project . e.g. HTML,PHP,SQL etc.

b) Design
- This is the design phase and includes all designing activities such as user interface (GUI), database, add-on, photo feature and social feature ( e.g. private message, events etc. )

c) Umbrella Activities
- This refers to activities which is runned throughout the project itself. This includes Tracking & Control , Software Quality Assurance ,Formal Technical Review and Blogging.

d) Documentation
- to systematically record,keep and update all important files e.g. using document version control etc. This is mainly done by the Documentation Manager.

e) Programming- to convert design into a website via programming. Debugging is also included in this phase.This is mainly done by the Programming Leader.

CliCk

introduction :

CliCk is a project initiated to develop a social network web application. This web application will help people to reconnect with their friends, or even develop new friendships. Each user will have his/her own home page that contains the user picture and information. The user will have the ability to interact with other users by shearing his/her activities , status updates, thoughts, photos , music,videos and many other features.

Features:
•Activity Streams.
•Friendship: add/pending/approve friends.
•Notifications.
•Private Message, Inbox/SentBox.
•Events: Create/Join events.
•Photo uploading, Photo albums.
•Blogs.
•Videos and music.
•Site search.

 

Problem definition : 

 Developing a secure website that can handle large database, to contain users information and data. Further more, the website provides fast updates and ability to support different technology such as HTML5 , Flash and JAVA .

In order to support all of these features provided in the website, we will use PHP and SQL technologies
